Vera Breitigam
Vera Maxine Breitigam, 87, Wapakoneta, died at 1:15 p.m. May 24, 2010, at Auglaize Acres.
She was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Lima, to Carl and Ida Lucille Shroyer Walti. On Oct. 11, 1942, she married Emmett Eugene Breitigam Jr., who died May 19, 2006.
Surviving are four sons, Gary (Bev) Breitigam, Lima, Daniel (Jean) Breitigam, Wapakoneta, James (Pam) Breitigam, St. Henry, and Ed (Jane) Breitigam, Wapakoneta; two daughters, Patricia (Larry) Horn, Waynesfield, and Dianne (Robert) Motter, Harrod; two brothers, Robert E. (Peg) Walti, Waynesfield, and George F. (Charlene) Walti, Lima; three sisters, Flossie Randall, Logan, Pauline Randall, Wapakoneta, and Wilma Randall, Waynesfield; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Dennis G. Breitigam, who died June 16, 2008; a great-grandson, and two sisters, Betty J. Walti Neuenschwander and Marjorie Weidel.
She was a homemaker and worked on the farm.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, the Rev. Ernest Plemmons officiating. Burial is at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday
at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or Auglaize Acres Nursing Home.
