* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Canal cleanup

Nikki Wisener and John Sampson, both of St. Marys, clear brush along the Miami & Erie Canal on Saturday. They were working with the St. Marys Beautification Committee, which teamed up with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to clean up portions of the canal in the area of K.C. Geiger Park in St. Marys.
