* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Marion Neargarder
Marion J. Neargarder, 79, Versailles, died at 9:28 a.m. May 15, 2010, at his home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Frenchtown, to Chelcie and Alfreda Goubeaux Neargarder. On May 12, 1962, he married Joan Abels, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Karen (Tony) Walter, Piqua, Joyce (Tom) Luke, Delaware, and Roger (Lannette) Neargarder, Russia; one brother, Carl (Ruth) Neargarder, Frenchtown; and three sisters, Virginia Sparks, Colorado, Dorothy (Donald) Beers, Hamilton, and Ilene (Leroy) Lange, St. Henry; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Donald Neargarder, and a sister, Rita Schmitt.
He worked at the former Chrysler Corporation for 30 years, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was also a member of the St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
