* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Kenneth Kitzmiller
Kenneth C. Kitzmiller, 67, 237 S. Garfield St., Minster, died at 6:40 p.m. May 11, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Aug. 10, 1942, in Minster, to Frank and Henrietta Fortman Kitzmiller. On Oct. 5, 1963, he married Marge Schwartz, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Todd (Lynn) Kitzmiller and Steve (Teri) Kitzmiller, all of Minster, and Susan (Kitt) Barlage, New Bremen; two brothers, Don (Linda) Kitzmiller and Dennis (Connie) Kitzmiller, all of Minster; a sister-in-law, Ruth Wall, Lima; two brothers-in-law, Gene (Dot) Schwartz, New Bremen, and Fred (Deb) Schwartz, St. Henry; and eight grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church in Minster. He retired from Minster Machine after 38 years. He was a member of the cemetery board, Fraternal Order of the Eagles 1391 in Minster, American Legion in Minster and Minster Board of Public Affairs. He also was a charter member and first paramedic for Minster Area Life Squad and an emergency medical technician instructor.
Funeral services are 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial with full military rites including graveside firing squad is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
Memorials can be made to the Minster Area Life Squad and The Center for Neurological Development.
