* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

James Washburn
James "Jim" Washburn, 74, 407 Scott St., St. Marys, died at 7:30 p.m. April 23, 2010, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1936, in Mercer County, to Harley and Violet Wheeler Washburn. On Aug. 23, 1958, he married Matilda "Tillie" Sampson, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tim (LouAnn) Washburn, Spencerville, and Curtis Washburn, St. Marys; three daughters, Tammy (Larry) Greber, New Bremen, Susie (Chris) Crusie, St. Marys, and Sandy (Ed) Whitman, St. Marys, a brother, Don (Helen) Washburn, St. Marys; three sisters, Doris (Orland) Freewalt, and Mary Houser, all of Mendon, and Shirley (Don) Clement, Spencerville; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandson.
He worked at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys for several years and retired from Midwest Electric after 30 years. He also owned Jim's Union Oil Service Station in St. Marys. He attended the former Mendon Union School where he played basketball and baseball. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 767, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Kenneth Whetstone officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys.
