Andrew Favorito tests water from Grand Lake last summer at the Celina Water Treatment Plant for his high school science fair project. His project proved zebra mussels lower toxin levels in the lake by eating blue-green algae. He will participate in the International Science Fair in May. Also in attendance will be his mother and science fair advisor, LeeAnn Favorito, and his father, Ben.
