Franklin Stanton
Franklin V. Stanton, 93, died March 12, 2010, at Avalon by Otterbein-Clearcreek in Centerville.
He was born Sept. 27, 1916, in Portland, Ind., to Glenn B. and Emma Holloway Stanton. In 1939 he married Esther Honn, who is deceased.
Surviving are three daughters, Susie (Jim) Munz, Destin, Fla., Libby Stanton (Stan Gockel), Springboro, and Ginny (Daniel) Emerson, Indianapolis; a brother-in-law, Donald Ayres, Portland, Ind.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two children, Dee Dee and David, and a sister, Susannah Ayres.
Services are 4 p.m. March 27 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center in Indianapolis, Ind., the Rev. C. Stanley Gockel officiating.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. March 27 at the funeral home.
