* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Goldia Francis
Goldia Mae Francis, 89, of Russells Point, died March 13, 2010, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Langley, Ky., to Allen and Mary Ann Lafferty Ratliff. On May 24, 1941, she married E.L. Francis, who died in 1995.
Surviving are nine children, Pat (Charlene) Francis, Russells Point, Don (Crystal) Francis, Sidney, James (Connie) Francis, Lewistown, Edgle (Mary Lou) Francis, Sidney, Martha Gullet, Russells Point, Linda (Rick) Kirkpatrick, Russells Point, Susan (Fred) Vagedes, Coldwater, and Sally (Jim) Page, Bellefontaine; four sisters, Myrtle Ratliff, Minnie, Ky., Lula Bradley, Drift, Ky., Sidney Ratliff, Drift, Ky., and Shirley Amburgy, Louisa, Ky.; a brother, Edgel (Joan) Ratliff, Ypsilanti, Mich.; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Luther Gene Francis; a grandson; 10 brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of Rumley Baptist Church, Anna. She worked at Holloway Sportswear in Jackson Center, where she retired in 1982. She was a graduate of Maytown High School in Kentucky.
Services are 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, the Rev. Greg Haisley officiating. Burial is at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Cemetery in Tazwell, Tenn.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
