* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Martin Slaven
Martin L. Slaven, Sr., 52, 201 Walnut St., Apt. A, St. Marys, died at 6:16 a.m. March 8, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born April 13, 1957, in Martin, Ky., to Herb and Areda Hall Slaven. On Sept. 14, 2000, he married Judy Reichert, who died April 20, 2005.
Surviving are a son, Martin (Krystal) Slaven, Jr., Celina, and two daughters, Linda (Joel) Castorena, Celina, and Alisha Hoduck, Lima; two brothers, Herbert (Barb) Slaven, Jr., Botkins, and James Slaven, St. Marys; five sisters, Mary Tremmel, Omaha, Neb., Vina Woods, Celina, and Debora (Tim) Williams, Stacey (Tom) Spurlock and Vickie Burkhart, all of St. Marys; and 13 grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Charlie Slaven, Larry Hicks and Jackie Hicks, and a sister, Brenda Sue Rose.
He worked at Fuel Mart in Anna.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
