Barbara Swanson
Barbara Jean Swanson, 80, 2100 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 3:30 a.m. Feb. 9, 2010, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Luther and Rosalee Giroux Stone. Her husband, Henry Swanson, died July 9, 1994.
Survivors are four daughters, Julia (Ed) Woods, McAlpin, Fla., and Linda Harruff, Donna (Chris) Wyatt and Judy (Bob) Zink, all of St. Marys; two sons, Henry (Jennifer) Swanson and Robert (Lori) Swanson, all of St. Marys; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Ethel Truax and Agnes Radcliff; four brothers, Joe, Oliver, Ansel "Pat" and Luther "Bud" Stone; and a son-in-law, Brent Finke.
She retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Corp., Celina, and worked as a domestic housecleaner. She was a graduate of Cement City, Mich., High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service, St. Marys. A private family burial will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
