Workers watch as a huge crane lifts framework into place at Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen. The facility, located at the southeast corner of Amsterdam Road and South Walnut Street, will feature 60 units including assisted living services, independent retirement apartments and a dementia care unit. Completion is planned later this year with 22 full-time and 23 part-time jobs being added.
