* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Norbert Ripploh
Norbert C. Ripploh, 81, 298 E. Seventh St., Minster, died at 3 p.m. Jan. 4, 2010, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
He was born June 23, 1928, in Minster, to Harry and Clara Bornhorst Ripploh. On July 10, 1954, he married Rita A. Gaier, who survives.
Other survivors are four children, Michael (Susan) Ripploh, Minster, Rebecca Egbert, Anna, Tina Rohrbach, New Knoxville, and Judy (Bruno) Riboni, Granger, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandchild.
He retired from the Minster Machine Company after 45 years and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. He served on the Junior and Senior Fair Board for 10 years, was a former Jackson Township trustee, a member of the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, St. Marys, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and American Legion, both in Minster, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery with full military honors conducted at the graveside by the Minster Firing Squad.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
