* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lawrence Monnin Jr.
Lawrence J. Monnin Jr., 38, of New Weston died at 5:01 p.m. Oct. 21, 2009, at his residence. Death was due to apparent suicide by hanging, according to the Darke County Coronor's office.
He was born May 10, 1971, in Coldwater to Lawrence J. Monnin Sr. and Vickie Dross Monnin. His mother survives in Versailles; his father is deceased.
Other survivors are a son, Joseph Monnin, Versailles; and grandmothers, Kathryn Dross, Yorkshire, and Frances Hoelscher, Osgood.
Deceased are a daughter, Lorrene Taylor Monnin; and two grandfathers, John Dross and Thomas Monnin.
He worked at Buschur Dairy Farm in North Star and was secretary of the Mercer County Emergency Response Volunteers, Celina. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and served on the New Weston village council.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
Calling is noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
