* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Martha Stober
Martha K. French Stober, 92, of Rockford, died at 6:57 p.m. July 24, 2009, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 29, 1917, in Decatur, Ind., to Francis and Iva C. Lett Fuhrman. On Feb. 14, 1932, she married Harold R. French, who died Sept. 3, 1988. On July 21, 1991, she married Rufus R. Stober, who died March 22, 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn Beerbower, Rockford; a son, H. Dean (Connie) French, Bluffton; a stepson, Bill (Frieda) Stober, Rockford; a stepdaughter, Elaine (Adam) Kelly, Englewood, Fla.; a brother, Robert J. (Jeanette) Fuhrman, Decatur, Ind.; a sister, Jan Jackson, Easley S.C.; nine grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
She was a homemaker and worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys for 19 years. She was a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church, formerly known as Grace United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Rockford Red Hat Society, the Sunshine Singers, Celina, T.O.PS for over 25 years and the United Methodist Women.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Chip Steffy officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to service Tuesday at the funeral home
