Scott McIlroy
Dr. Scott Allen McIlroy, 59, of Upper Arlington, died July 12, 2009, at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. Death was due to leukemia.
He was born Jan. 17, 1950, in Celina to George and Ellen Mae Bauer McIlroy. His wife of 35 years, Mary Antenen McIlroy, survives.
Other survivors are his children, David (Anna), Andrew and Sarah; and a grandson.
Deceased are a brother, Monty Mcllroy; and a sister, SueEllen Jones.
He was a graduate of Celina Senior High School and DePauw University, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, and the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He worked as an Ob/Gyn practitioner for over 30 years.
A celebration of his life is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Columbus, the Rev. Philip Brooks officiating.
Calling is 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
