* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Donald Greiwe
Donald H. Greiwe, 86, 4078 Dicke Road, New Bremen, died at 8 a.m. July 3, 2009, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1923, near New Bremen to Homer F. and Irene Rump Greiwe. On April 17, 1948, he married Clara Westerbeck, who survives.
Other survivors are his children, John (Donna) Greiwe, Sidney, James (Diane) Greiwe, Coldwater, and Ann (Dennis) Nelson, New Bremen; a brother, Delbert (Ruby) Greiwe; a sister, Jean (David) Waterman, New Bremen; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two infant children.
He worked on the family farm and at Mesco Electric, New Bremen. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, where he served on the church council, as deacon and in many other capacities. He was a member of the Home Benefit Assoc. and was past commander of the American Legion, both of New Bremen, and the Farm Bureau. He also was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chickasaw, past commander of the 2nd District of the Ohio American Legion and served as its World War II Memorial Fund Drive chair. He was a member of the 1941 class of New Bremen High School and received his diploma April 14, 2002, in a ceremony honoring veterans who left school to join the military. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Estes, which was the command ship for the landings at Okinawa and Iwo Jima.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Dr. David A. Williams officiating. Burial with full military honors is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. today at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or the American Legion.
