* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Melvin Miller
Melvin John Miller, 66, of Coldwater, died today, June 18, 2009 at his home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1942, in Celina to Clem and Olive Knapke Miller. His father survives. On Nov. 16, 1968, he married Ginger Tester, who also survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Julie (Andy) Hrycko, Coldwater; a son, Chris (Jill) Miller, Coldwater; a sister Ruth (Orville) Bensman, Sidney; a brother, John (Jane) Miller, Tucson, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
He retired as a Systems Analyst Supervisor from the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater after 38 years and also worked as a realtor for Harlamert Realty in Coldwater. He was a member Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Men's Sodality, Coldwater Knights of Columbus Council 1991, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Coldwater and OWHA Horse Association.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Ron Wilker officiating.
Calling is 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Contributions can be made to Celina Area Visiting Nurses and Hospice or the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
