Mendon festival begins

Two festival goers enjoy a carnival ride on Thursday evening during the opening day of Mendon's Firecracker Festival. The event continues tonight at 6 p.m. with various activities, including tractor pulls and music by Josh Hawkins and Sarah & Shirissa Seibert, and Saturday, with a performance by Elvis Presley Jr. and fireworks.
