Robert DeLoye
Robert "Bob" P. DeLoye, 78, of Loy Road, Yorkshire, and a resident of Versailles Health Care Center since July 2008, died at 12:55 p.m. May 14, 2009, at Wayne Hospital, Greenville.
He was born Oct. 27, 1930, in Yorkshire, to Henry L. and Gertrude Eilerman DeLoye. On April 21, 1954, he married Rosalie A. Perin, who survives.
Other survivors are three children, Gerald DeLoye, Yorkshire, and Deborah (James) Moorman and Karen (Steve) Meier, all of Sidney; a brother, Raymond (Mary Ann) DeLoye, Houston; four sisters-in-law, Eileen (Ralph) Boerger, New Bremen, Virginia Forthofer, Russia, Vee (Art) Prefas and Esther Perin, all of Fort Loramie; a brother-in-law, the Rev. Glenn Perin, Ludlow Falls; three grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Paul DeLoye; a sister and her husband, Amelia and Norb Heckman; four brothers-in-law, Carl Perin, Larry Forthofer, Paul and Marcel Perin; and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia DeLoye.
He was a dairy farmer. He also was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and its Men's Sodality, Newport, and a former member of St. Remy Knights of Columbus, Russia.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Revs. Steven Shoup and Glenn Perin officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie
