* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Looking for a cute chick

This gruff-looking great blue heron, a male in shaggy breeding plumage, stands on one leg along a channel on the East Bank in St. Marys on Tuesday. It was great weather for herons and ducks, as the local area received periodic rainfall and even some hail throughout the day. However, nice weather is on the horizon. By Friday, temperatures are expected to climb near 80 degrees with sunny skies.
