Thomas Jansen
Thomas A. Jansen, 74, 1212 Phillips Ave., Dayton, died at 6:37 p.m. on April 9, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 2, 1935, in St. Henry, to John and Margaret Schuh Jansen. On May 8, 1965, he married Mary Jo Beyke, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John Jansen, Dayton, and Joe Jansen, Miamisburg; two daughters, Theresa (Jeff) Grieshop and Anne Jansen, both of Dayton; three brothers, Dennis (Lucy) Jansen, Coldwater, John (Pat) Jansen, Celina, and Paul (Judy) Jansen, St. Henry; two sisters, Margaret Stammen, Coldwater, and Lucy (Bob) Link, Celina; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jansen, Fla.
Deceased are a daughter, Mary Ann Jansen; five brothers, Clarence, Bill, Louis, Bob and Henry; and three sisters, Clara Lauber, Isabelle Heinke and Mary Hemmelgarn.
He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Dayton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Dayton.
Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial is at St. Henry Cemetery with military rites conducted by St. Henry American Legion.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Memorials can be made to St. Vincent DePaul in Dayton.
