* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Melvin Meyer
Melvin Meyer, 51, 2910 Carmel Church Road, Celina, died at 10:50 p.m. March 26, 2009, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Aug. 12, 1957, in Coldwater, to Marvin and Marjorie Rockwood Hurt Meyer. His mother survives in Celina. His father and stepfather, Donald Hurt, are deceased.
Surviving are a brother, Lonnie (Lora) Hurt, Celina; and a sister, Melony (Glenn) Rosen, Cincinnati.
He worked for Freemont Canning Company and was a member of Hopewell Grange and Mount Carmel Church of God, both of Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Mark Wakeland officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church and Hopewell Grange's dictionary fund.
