Mark Shore, an electrician with Jess Howard Electric Co. of Blacklick, works on one of four new precision runway approach lights at Lakefield Airport in Montezuma on Monday. The lights appear red, white or green from the air, depending on the height and angle of each plane, helping pilots to correct their approach for a safe landing, according to airport Manager Scott Arnold. The installation of the lights is part of ongoing upgrades being made at the airport.
