Ag leadership class
Photo by Nancy Allen/The Daily Standard

Students in the new agriculture leadership program at Wright State University-Lake Campus on Thursday listen to veterinarian Mike Cline talk about artificial insemination. Students were able to view and inspect the real reproductive tracts of cows, some holding fetuses of varying stages of development, including one with an 8-month-old fetus. The animal sciences class is the first in a series of classes that will be part of the new agriculture leadership program. Eighteen students are enrolled. Students can incorporate the ag leadership program into an associate's degree or into the bachelor's degree in organizational leadership at the Lake Campus.
