* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Owen Smith
Owen "Curly" Smith, 78, 7784 state Route 703 E., Celina, died at 8:10 a.m. on Feb. 15, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born April 19, 1930, in Celina, to Ira V. and Myrtle Spohn Smith. On July 30, 1950, he married Luella Kittle, who survives at the residence.
Other survivors are two sons, Alan (Jane) and Kevin "Snuffy" (Carol), all of Celina; and four grandchildren.
He retired in 1993 as the plant superintendent at Reynolds and Reynolds Company, Celina, where he worked for 44 years. After retirement, he worked with his son at OVISCO, Celina, for eight years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Mercer County Elks, and the Athletic Booster Club, all of Celina. He was 1948 graduate of Celina Senior High School and served in the U.S. Army Medics 37th division during the Korean War.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Revs. Jeff Conrad and Kim Miller officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina, where military honors will be conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Celina.
Calling is 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m. and a military service at 7:00 p.m.
Contributions can be made to the church, the Mercer County Cancer Society or the Mercer County Heart Fund.
