* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Donald Fisher
Donald Wayne Fisher, 65, of Rockford, died at 6:04 a.m. Dec. 29, 2008, at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born June 17, 1943, in Mercer County to Dale A. and Kathryn Pond Fisher. On June 10, 1962, he married Gloria Thatcher who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Steve (Toni), Tim (Jenny) and Matt (Kara), all of Rockford, Mike (Misty), Vandalia; a daughter, Diana (Rod) Leighner, Vandalia; four sisters, Mary (Ron) Bruce of North Carolina, Joan Fox and Dorothy (Pat) Trisel, all of Rockford, and Ruth (Tim) Bennett of Antwerp; a sister-in-law, Jannis Osterloh, Celina; and 14 grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Dale; and a brother-in-law, Pat Fox.
He retired from International Harvester, Fort Wayne, Ind., with 20 years of service, and then worked at Parker-Hannifin, New Haven, retiring with 19 years of service. He was a member of the Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford, and a member of the Wren-Birdville Cooners.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, the Rev. Steve Waterman officiating. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
