* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Rosemary Metzger
Rosemary R. Metzger, 86, 224 Gwendolyn St., Fort Recovery, died at 5:01 p.m. Dec. 8, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born Sept. 18, 1922, in Burkettsville, to John and Theresa Hemmelgarn Obringer. On Nov. 7, 1942, she married Victor Metzger, who died May 12, 2005.
Surviving are a son, Bob (Linda), Fort Recovery; four daughters, Elaine (Bob) Phillips, Centerville, Dolores (Jim) Gaerke, Russia, and Marlene (Ed) Wehrkamp and Carol (Lloyd) Stammen, all of Fort Recovery; three sisters, Alvira Kaiser, Fort Recovery, Sister Cassilda Obringer, Salem Heights, and Dorothy (Wilson) Denney, Hamilton; five brothers, Werner Obringer, Tiffin, Ed Obringer, Fort Recovery, Jerry (Carolyn) Obringer and Carl (Mary) Obringer, all of Fort Recovery, and Ralph (Charlene) Obringer, Coldwater; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jim.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, and its Altar Sodality, and the Daughters of Isabella, Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman- Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. by the Daughters of Isabella.
