* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Leona Koesters
Former Coldwater resident Leona E. Koesters, 90, of St. Henry, died at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 1, 2008, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 30, 1918, in St. Peter, to Philip and Anna Braun Wendel. On April 29, 1944, she married Richard C. Koesters, who died Aug. 20, 1980.  
Surviving are two sons, Jerald (Nancy), Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Levarn (Judy), Coldwater; two daughters, Phyllis Buening and Annrita (Charles) Gerlach, all of St. Henry; a sister-in-law, Laura Wendel, Fort Recovery; a foster sister, Patricia (Walt) Harlett, St. Henry; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, John, Leo, Harold and Aloys Wendel; and six sisters, Victoria Kahlig-Muhlenkamp, Mathilda Schenking, Olive Doll, Pauline Post, Philomena Tangeman and Catherine Burnett.
She was a former member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rev. Ron Wilker officiating.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial is at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
