* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Harold Hertenstein
Harold "Lefty" Hertenstein, 82, 17222 County Road 66-A., St. Marys, died at 11 p.m. Oct. 28, 2008, at home.
He was born Aug. 20, 1926, in Noble Township, St. Marys, to Daniel and Maude Kilger Hertenstein. On Nov. 9, 1947, he married Mary Chivington, who survives.
Other survivors are five children, Craig (Katie), Jeffrey (Linell), Jodi, and Douglas (Rachel), all of St. Marys; and Kristina (John) Yancik, West Alexandria, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Joan Knatz.
He was owner/operator of Kossuth Feed Mill for 31 years and a farmer. He coached baseball players in the area and was caretaker of the baseball diamonds at K.C. Geiger Park, St. Marys. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene, St. Marys, and was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, St. Marys. He was a 1944 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday, at the First Church of the Nazarene, the Revs. Tim Smith and Don Ricard officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, and Monday one hour prior to service at the church.
Contributions can be made to Grand Lake Hospice or the K.C. Geiger Park Improvement Fund.
