* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Fire department visit

Kindergartener Joseph Magato leans out to get a better view from the driver's seat of a fire truck, or perhaps he is just checking to see whether the rest of the class is coming up front. Kindergarten students from Minster Elementary School visited the Minster-Jackson Township Fire Department Friday in observance of Fire Protection Day. Firefighters also went to school for programs geared toward students in grades one through three.
