* At 813 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bluffton to near Wapakoneta, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.

Local and state officials are urging area landowners to "do their homework" before signing land lease contracts for wind turbine projects.
In the last year, at least three renewable energy companies have talked to area residents - mainly farmers - and held local meetings to persuade them to sign land leases for deals padded with up-front cash. The companies seek to build commercial-sized wind turbines on the local farmland. [More]

ROCKFORD - The Parkway Panthers used a solid defensive effort to defeat the Wayne Trace Raiders 33-0 in non-league action Friday night at Panther Stadium.
The Parkway defense, in addition to pitching the shutout, held the Raiders to just 125 yards of total offense while also forcing seven turnovers. The Panthers picked off five Ryne Jerome passes, including a school record four interceptions by senior Joshua Fisher. [More]
