Trina Gast
Trina Christine Gast, 45, 11262 state Route 29, New Knoxville, died at 8:10 a.m. Aug. 26, 2008, at her residence. Death was due to cancer.
She was born Nov. 9, 1962, in St. Marys, to Allen and Margaret "Marge" Smith Henschen. Her mother survives in New Knoxville. On July 1, 1991, she married Steven Gast, who survives at the residence.
Other survivors are two brothers, Terry Henschen and Tom (Marlene) Henschen, all of New Knoxville; and parents-in-law, Chet and Anne Gast, Spencerville.
She was owner and proprietor of the former Calico Cow and Cranberry Barn gift shop, New Knoxville, a member of the Faith Alliance Church, New Bremen, and a 1981 graduate of New Knoxville High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Revs. Tom Seger and Dean Greenwood officiating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Contributions can be made to Gideons International, Auglaize County Cancer Association, Grand Lake Hospice, or the church.
