* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Miriam Schamp
Miriam Schamp, 96, 726 North Spruce St., St. Marys, died at 4:19 a.m. Aug. 9, 2008, at the Golden Living Center, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 28, 1912, in Lima, to Allen and Lillie Hager Solomon. On Nov. 11, 1928, she married Don Schamp, who died Dec. 8, 1999.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Eileen), St. Marys; a daughter, Jeannette (Terry) Putt, Van Wert; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Grover "Bud" and Paul Solomon; and three sisters, Margaret Hodges, Juanita Telek and Beatrice Solomon.
She had worked at the former Champion Spark Plugs, Lima, the DWG Cigar Company, Woolen Mill and Tastee Treet, all in St. Marys. She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and its United Methodist Women, and the Hawthorne Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, where she had served as Worthy Matron.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown, officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
