Getting ready for jail

A tractor pulling ground preparation equipment worked earlier this week on the land that will evenutally house the new Mercer County Jail. Contracts for the new jail are being let and work is expected to begin in earnest on the foundation as soon as some of the infrastructure pipes are in place.
