* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Charles Siefring
Charles L. Siefring, 71, 4937 Burkettsville-St. Henry Road, Coldwater, died at 11:50 p.m. July 10, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born June 19, 1937, in Philothea, to Bernard and Pauline Dues Siefring. On Sept. 3, 1960, he married Dorothy Knapke, who survives in Coldwater.
Other survivors are a son, Daryl (Tonya), Coldwater; three daughters, Brenda (Roger) Albers and Glenda (Jeff) Halterman, all of Coldwater, and Linda (Don) Post, St. Henry; six brothers, Orville (Jeanette), Bernard (Mary) and Herbert (Stella), all of Coldwater, and David (Eileen), Gerald and Roger (Rose Ann), all of Philothea; two sisters, Luetta Forsthoefel and Bernice (Don) Wellman, all of Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Mildred, Celina; and 12 grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Barthel and Elmer; a brother and his wife, Omer and Monica; and a brother-in-law, Don Forsthoefel.
He was a farmer and veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Fraternal Order of Eagles, both in Coldwater.
Funeral Mass was held July 14, 2008, at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial was at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, where military rites were conducted.
