* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Hibner
Robert E. Hibner, 81, 206 E. College St., Coldwater, died at 10:30 a.m. June 26, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born Oct. 31, 1926, in Piqua, to Oscar and Mary Flynn Hibner. On June 14, 1950, he married Elizabeth Borchers, who died May 13, 2006.
Survivors are three sons, Robert J. (Sharon), and Joseph (Brianna), all of Coldwater, and John (Laurie), Mason; two daughters, Maria (Greg) Gaerke, Berea, Ky., and Ann (Alan) Clune, St. Henry; a brother Paul (Darline) of New Mexico; a sister-in-law, Mart Hibner of New Mexico; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two daughters, Theresa Marie and Elizabeth Ann Hibner; two brothers, William and Thomas Hibner; a sister, Mary Beth Hosack; a brother-in-law, George Hosack, and a sister-in-law, Alice Hibner.
He was retired as co-owner and operator of Hibner's Jewelers, Coldwater. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Coldwater. He was a co-founder of the Coldwater Community Picnic, and a member of Mercer County Elks, Coldwater Lions Club, Lakefield Airport Authority and served on the board of Mercer County Community Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Contributions can be made to the State of the Heart Hospice, Coldwater.
