A bald eaglet, like the one shown above from a banding program at Grand Lake in 2006, was rescued eight days ago after a storm blew its nest away from a tree in the Mercer Wildlife area. The eaglet and its sibling, which are approximately 10 weeks old, are currently doing fine.
