* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lena Whitacre
Lena Ruth Whitacre, 84, of Redkey, Ind., died June 14, 2008, at her residence
She was born in March 3, 1924, in Portland, Ind., to Paul and Inez Baldauf Stults. On June 10, 1987, she married Richard Whitacre, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, both in Portland.
Other survivors are a daughter, Kathleen L. (Ron) Walters of Wabash, Ind.; two brothers, John (Inez) Stults, Las Cruces, N.M., and Lowell Stults, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Betty Woolslager, Belle Fountain, Ind.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchldren.
Deceased is a son, Robert P. Grile; a daughter, Peggy Sue Bienz; a brother, Bill Stults; and two sisters, Helen Moeshberger and Wilma Cox.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at MJS Mortuaries Redkey Chapel, Redkey, Ind., the Rev. Jerry VanNatter officiating. Burial is at Hillcrest Cemetery, Red Key.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at MJS Mortuaries Redkey Chapel.
