John Vagedes
John A. Vagedes, 53, of Lakeview, died May 12, 2008, at his home. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born on October 27, 1954, in Celina, to Paul Vagedes and Mary Ann Garvick Miller. His father survives in Lakeview.
Other survivors are two daughters, Kristel (James) Kobylack, Bellefontaine, and Nicole Vagedes, DeGraff; a brother, Fred (Suzie) Vagedes, Coldwater; and six sisters, Debra (Thurman) Allmon, Lakeview, Susan (Tim) Brewer, Zanesfield, Kathy Fout, West Mansfield, Paula (Jeff) Fout, Belle Center, Vickie (David) Furlong, West Mansfield, and Rhonda (Terry) Cook, East Liberty; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
He retired from Dana Corporation after 30 years. He was a member of the Sons of Amvets, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Indian Lake Moose Lodge , all in Lakeview.
Services are at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, the Rev. Walt Mansfield officiating. He will be cremated after the service and private graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Huntsville Cemetery.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are being handled by Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview.
