Donald Rickard
Donald M. Rickard, 78, 210 N. Wayne St., Mendon, died at 10:50 p.m. April 11, 2008, at The Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
He was born May 25, 1929, in Van Wert County, to J. Monda and Emma Coil Rickard. On May 27, 1950, he married Ruth Ann Emans, who died May 4, 1997.
Survivors are three sons, Timothy (Mary) and Bruce, all of Mendon, and David, Lima; two daughters, Donna J. Jones, Celina, and Lori Slone, St. Marys; a sister, Rebecca Louise (Leonard) Koehn, Sanford, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, James Junior Rickard.
He retired from the molding department at former New Idea/Textron, Coldwater.
Services are at a later date. Burial will be at Mendon Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Contributions can be made to the Lima Memorial Hospital St. Marys Dialysis Unit or the Village of Mendon Parks Committee.
