* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Fasching Fest

German food and lively polka music drew more than 400 people to the seventh annual Fasching Fest sponsored Tuesday by the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce. Barb and Ed Menker of Pleasant Hill take to the Minster Knights of Columbus dance floor sporting German costumes and stepping lively to the music of Bette's Polka Band. Winners in the polka contest were: Doug and Denise Jutte of Minster, first; Paul and Jeanette Lennartz of St. Marys, second; and Joe and Dorothy Wuebker of Minster, third.
