Jennie Scheer
Jennie L. Scheer, 85, 11543 Eilerman Road, Minster, died at 11:35 a.m. Feb. 4, 2008, at Triumph Hospital, Lima.
She was born Sept. 27, 1922, in Roundhead to James W. Smith and Clara M. Robbins Smith. On Aug. 30, 1952, she married Oscar A. Scheer, and he died Nov. 10, 1964.
Survivors are three sons, Oscar Keith (Francine), Anna, Roney (Margaret), Lubbock, Texas, and Ricky, Minster; a daughter, Esther (Stuart) Woehler, Minster; a brother, Floyd (Clara) Smith, Minster; a sister Dorothy Moyer; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, James Smith, a sister, Gladice Smith, a brother-in-law, Norval Moyer, and a grandson.
She retired from Copeland Corporation, Sidney and was a member of Only Believe Ministries, Botkins.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Burial is at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
