Mary Holtzhauer
Mary C. Holtzhauer, 90, formerly of St. Marys, died at 9 a.m. Jan. 27, 2008, in Lakeview.
She was born Aug. 11, 1917, in St. Marys, to Fred and Laura O'Neill Holtzhauer.
Survivors are three sisters, Patricia E. Monger, Lakeview, Elizabeth J. (Robert) Marker, Wapakoneta, and Mary M. "Jakie" (William) Brodbeck, Swanton.
Deceased are an infant brother, George, and two sisters, Ann Francis Gasson and Helen K. "Mickey" Dicke.
She had worked at Monarch Marking System in Dayton and as an officer of the Home Banking Company/Central Trust (currently First Financial Bank) where she retired after 25 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, where she served as religion instructor and president of the Rosary Altar Society. She recently attended St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point. She was former president of the St. Marys Soroptimist Club, a member of the National "17er" Club and past treasurer of the Auglaize County Chapter of the American Red Cross. In 1935 she graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, with a rosary prayer service at 7 p.m.
