Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

WAPAKONETA - Auglaize County residents kicked off a yearlong celebration Sunday afternoon commemorating the 175th anniversary birthdays of Wapakoneta and New Bremen. Ohio's first lady Frances Strickland joined in the festivities.
Several hundred people braved unseasonably cold weather to fill the Auglaize County Courthouse rotunda. Even with additional chairs hurriedly set up, people arriving just prior to the 1:30 p.m. program found standing room only. [More]

The hot shooting touch continues for the Coldwater Cavaliers.
After shooting 52 percent against St. Henry on Friday night, the Cavaliers neared the 60-percent mark in posting a 65-51 win over Celina at the Fieldhouse on Saturday in the 72nd meeting of the teams. [More]

Some 15,000 chickens perished Sunday when dense smoke filled a large poultry barn near St. Henry.
Owner Bill Stachler, 1726 Fleetfoot Road, spotted flames coming from an electrical room at the front of the sprawling structure housing 70,000 chickens around 3 p.m. and called 911.
