* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ernest Eyink
Ernest C. Eyink, 65, 4786 Lock Two Road, New Bremen, died at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 23, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born March 19, 1942, in Chickasaw, to Aloys and Cecilia Bruns Eyink. On May 14, 1966, he married Mary E. Cron, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Ron (Cheri), Twinsburg, and Tony (Kate), Sidney; three daughters, Janet (Mark) McClurg, New Bremen, Karen (Vega) Rozenberg, Anthem, Ariz., and Julie, Lincoln, Neb.; four sisters, Alice (Donald) Feltz and Mary Ann (Vincent) Gruss, all of Coldwater, Viola (Wilbert) Homan, Maria Stein, and Esther, Chickasaw; a brother, Kenneth (Kathy), Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Rita, Coldwater; and nine grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Edgar and Thomas.
He retired from Minster Machine Co. on March 1, 2003, after 41 years of service and worked at Western Ohio True Value Hardware, Minster. A graduate of Marion Local High School and the University of Dayton, he was a member of Tau Beta Alpha Engineering fraternity and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Ron Wilker officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday in the parish center of the church and 9:30-10:10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
