Santa's helpers are on the job

Students at Serendipity Nursery School in New Bremen remember hungry cats and dogs during the holiday season. Alanna Bertke hands cat food to Laura Jones, Humane Society manager. Come spring, the youngsters enrolled at the school at St. Paul United Church of Christ will take a field trip to visit the society's animal shelter.
