* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

Floyd Echeman
Floyd J. "Red" Echeman, 79, of Versailles, died at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 27, 2007, at the Versailles Health Care Center.
He was born July 12, 1928, in Russia, to Henry and Estella Mangen Echeman.
Surviving are a companion, Libby Wood, Lima; two sons, John (Sharon), Versailles, and Mark P. (Sherry), Greenville; two daughters, Angela (Dennis) Pittsenbarger, Greenville, and Barbara (Curtis) Brandewie, Versailles; two sisters, Rita (Wilfrid) Holscher and Mary Lou Echeman, all of Minster; seven grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, George and Bernard "Barney."
He formerly worked for Omar Bread and at Tate Manufacturing, Copeland Corp., Sidney, and Poeppelman Gravel Pit, Bradford. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Versailles, American Legion, Osgood, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ansonia.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, with military rites conducted by the Versailles Veteran's Honor Guard.
