* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ernest Stahl
Ernest B. "Doc" Stahl, 78, 5141 Shore Drive, Celina, died Nov. 26, 2007, at 9:22 p.m. at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Philothea to Edward and Anna (Schoenlein) Stahl. On July 25, 1953 he was married to Margaret Garke, who preceded him in death April 3, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel, Celina, and Kevin (Rita), Coldwater; three brothers, Bud (Lucille) Stahl and Louie Stahl, all of St. Henry; Don (Esther) Stahl, Celina; two sisters, Rita Borgert and Esther (Bud) Davis, all of St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Sally Stahl, St. Henry and Agnes Stahl, Chicago,Ill.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Jeff; two brothers, Clarence and Herbert; a sister, Helen Stahl; sister-in-law, Julia Stahl and brother-in-law, Wilmer Borgert.
He was the owner and operator of the former Doc's Inn, Montezuma and retired from Morriseys in Minster. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Montezuma, Coldwater VFW Post 5135, American Legion Post 470, the Knights of Columbus Council 1991 and the Mercer County DAV Post 76.
Funeral Mass is Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the church. The Rev. James Dugal will officiate and burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, with military rites to be conducted at the cemetery.
Calling is Friday, 2-8 p.m. at Hogekamp Funeral Home, Coldwater and 9-10 a.m. Saturday.
