Mystery surrounds Celina death

An area mother investigating why her son had not left for work found him dead in bed Monday morning.
Nathaniel Heitbrink, 23, 224 Jackson St., Celina, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 8:30 a.m. His body was taken to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater and later transferred to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office in Dayton.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death as Heitbrink had not been ill, according to Mercer County Sheriff's Office reports.
"There were no signs of foul play," Chief Deputy Gery Thobe told The Daily Standard. "We found nothing at the scene to suggest a possible cause of death."
Thobe said no pills or weapons were found at the scene.
Diana Heitbrink reportedly saw her son's vehicle still parked at the home when he should have been working at Creative Cabinetry and went to investigate.
Thobe said the investigation into the man's death will continue until results of toxicology tests are received and Mercer County Coroner Dr. Timothy Heinrichs rules on the cause of death.
It often takes four to six weeks to receive test results, according to Thobe.
