Raymond Breymier
Raymond Max Breymier, 78, of Modoc, Ind., died Oct. 22, 2007, at Community Hospital, north of Indianapolis, Ind.
He was born May 14, 1929, in Darke County, to Luther Jacob and Gleda Abel Breymier. His wife of 36 years, Freda Breymier, survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dean Lester Jr. (Neda), Modoc; four daughters, Avalyn Swaney, Indianapolis, Heather (Bryant) Branigan, Fishers, Ind., Tannya (Chris) Houtchens, Villa Rica, Ga., and Yvonne (Jack) Kelley, Naples, Fla.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a farmer, president of Breymier Farms Inc., and owned and operated the Quality Liquor Store in Dunkirk, Ind., from 1972-1978. While a resident of Naples, Fla., he owned and operated the 951 Pawn Shop. A 1947 graduate of Madison High School, he was a member of the Arch Bridge Kroozers of Portland and attended the Union Chapel Church in Randolph County.
Services were held Saturday at the Portland Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home. Burial was at Salamonia Cemetery in Indiana.
